If the answer to all four questions is yes, then contributing $60 to the Council for Unity can do just that for an entire year.

The Council has a 34 year history of eliminating gang violence in schools and communities, promoting unity
and understanding between all races and cultures and graduating over 90% of it students.

Your contribution will be used to do the following: • Provide training and mentorship for at risk kids • Pay for transportation to career fairs and college orientation • Support for after school programs that provide recreation, tutoring, tolerance and health for life opportunities

The Council for Unity will provide you with an Adopt a Kid Certificate with the child’s name, school and a hand written essay by your “adopted kid” on how your contribution affected his or her growth and development through the year. And if you contribute within 2 weeks of this mailing, we will provide you with our own Acorn Pin symbolizing the planting of the seed in your adopted child who through our program has close to a 90% possibility of going to college instead of jail. Your contribution assures that future.
